Run! Run ! Run! Almost at the finish line!

It's almost summertime for the students at CSULB with only two weeks left in the 2013 spring semester.
Many are making the most of their last few weeks at school by hitting the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Beaches, bikinis, and hot bods are what the summer will consist of and what better way to look good then to work out?
People have a love/hate relationship with exercising and most of the time they don’t put in the time or the effort to get in a really good work out. With finals coming up, and the building pressure of all these papers that are due next week, exercise should definitely be a priority.
Any spare time there is should be going to exercise. Whether it’s an hour or thirty minutes, only 3-4 times a week at least it is something!

“I never liked working out,” Amanda Viselli, pre-business major at CSULB, “until my second semester here at CSULB. It was spring finals and I was stressing because the pressure I felt was immense. The classes were very demanding and on top of that I had a lot going on outside of school. But as soon as I started making a routine of going to the gym, I realized that working out doesn’t only make you look good, but it makes you feel good too! My stress levels decreased profoundly and I’ve continued working out ever since.”
Exercising and working out helps with stress, anxiety, and many other pressures felt not only in school, but in life as well. People who tend to work out 4-5 times a week have lower stress levels if any at all, feel no anxiety, and probably have a banging body to show off after all that hard work.
Of course eating right and getting a good night’s sleep also contribute to the healthy, safe way of making yourself feel better and look good. Eating right and sleeping will not give you the same kind of endorphins that a 3-mile run will, though.
Exercise is good for the body and mind no matter what. But when there is stress and anxiety, working out would especially be the number one remedy to create a fresh mind, a good-looking body, and overall, a healthy life.
